disable assertion of NMI on SERR

Server: ProLiant DL360 G5 and G6
OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2003
Problem: We have developed an OEM PCI Express expansion board. The operating system at boot up is trying to write a value to a read-only register on the PCI bridge chip on our board. The result is a BSoD. On other servers we've found a workaround to this problem: in the BIOS, we disable the "Assert NMI on SERR" option. We can find no equivalent BIOS setting on the DL360 G5 or G6.
Question: Does anyone know of a BIOS setting that is equivalent on the ProLiant model above?
Alternatively, does anyone know of another facility to disable assertion of NMI on SERR? Is there something in the ProLiant Support Pack perhaps?
