dl 380 g5 blue screen trap


Hello,
we have on a dl 380 g5 5150 intermittent blue screen , somme times twice a day and some times 5 days later .

message :
blue screen trap (bug check)
stop 0x0000008E (0x000000005, 0xB9A4438D,0xB9836ABC,0x00000000)
we have upgrade firmware with cd firmware 8.20
and we have swapp disks drives with an other server (dl380 g5 identical) and the other server don't bug .
i have change memory modules 2x 1 gb

What do you think ?

Well having latest Firmware CD does not mean you have the latest System ROM

there is a more recent System ROM which is not included in FW CD 8.2

also what about Proliant Support Pack version 8.11

has the server installed that version 8.11?


also what kind of server is that? exchange=? SQL?

how many times a day server blue screening? when server blue screening? when running a backup? when is high workload?

Hi,

- the server is running wk 2003
- we have installed the psp 8.11
- the server stop at any time
