Server have been runinx esx 4.x for years with no issues.

So I decided to update to 5.5.

Now I'm getting

I have tried to upgrade the firmware and bios (finally got bios to latest).

Using HP SUM b600.2013_095.7.iso

HP SPP 3013.09.

firmware 9.30

The SPP did ilo and that is it.

Thes server has dual 5520 procs, 48gb ram, and 2 4 port intel nics.

Any ideas?

I have an identical server with less memory (36???) running esx 4.x next to this one that is runing fine. No updates ever.

Looks like one of the HP NC364T 's was bad.
