dl380 G2 firmware update, now doesn't boot
hello,
I used the 7.2 firmware update disk from the compaq website to update firmware on a proliant dl380 G2 rack server.
It was working fine before, but we just got it and it started warning about needing firmware updates during POST.
So, after doing the firmware updates successfully and rebooting, it gets stuck at the first screen after it senses the 5i raid controller.
What happened? How can I get this to work again?
thanks,
Oskar

Re: dl380 G2 firmware update, now doesn't boot
Hi,Oskar Teran
Once again you try to update the BIOS/FIRMWARE in the following site:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/20_1342.html#4
and give the feedback.
Thanks and Regards

Re: dl380 G2 firmware update, now doesn't boot
It started working after shutting it off for a few minutes.
Then I started the server and it detects the 5i controller correctly.
For some reason, after the firmware update, it took a long time to boot correctly.
Now it works fine.
