e200i ld extension problem
Hello All
I have BL460 server with e200i controller. Configuration:
=> ctrl all show config
Smart Array E200i in Slot 0 (Embedded) (sn: P694MP0878)
array A (SAS, Unused Space: 673855 MB)
logicaldrive 1 (136.7 GB, RAID 1, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:1 (port 1I:box 1:bay 1, SAS, 500 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:2 (port 1I:box 1:bay 2, SAS, 500 GB, OK)
I want expand logical drive 1 to maximum size, but i have error:
=> ctrl slot=0 ld 1 modify size=max forced
Error: This operation is not supported with the current configuration. Use the
"show" command on devices to show additional details about the
configuration.
Somebody know what wrong in my configuration? I see e200 user guide, it support logical drive capacity extension. Thanks in advance

Re: e200i ld extension problem
Online Capacity Expansion on the E200 controller requires the Battery-Backed Write Cache option to be installed.
So i need to get the "128MB Battery-Backed Write Cache" kit installed.
