esata card for HP ML350P Gen8
I need a hot pluggable esata interface on a HP ML350P server running Windows 2008 R2 server. I have tried using the Startech PEXESATA2, which I have used succesfully on a HP DL380P Gen8, but this is not detected on the ML350P (does not appear in device manager). On Startech advice have tried the PEXESAT32, but the server crashes to a blue screen with the message NMI:Channel Check/IOCHECK. Has anyone succesfully got an eSATA card working on this server, and if so what type?

Re: esata card for HP ML350P Gen8
Did you find a solution to this? I am currently struggling with the same issue. Startech PEXESATA2 card does not seem to be recognised by the server (ML350 Gen9 64GB ram, Server 2012R2). Mediasonic HFD1-SU3S2 4 bay docking station. The docking station does random disconnects under load when connected via USB3. Works with USB2 but slow.
