Every day our server is crashing at various times. W2k sp4, support paq 7.10.

The system encountered an uncorrectable system error (NMI) prior to this boot.

I have now disabled the ILO device driver and removed the active agent 'system information' from control panel>management agents>services.
All firmware is up to date.
I have to wait and see if anything happens next. Has anybody come acrosss this before?
I found reports of similar issues when the support paq was at 6.3 but not at 7.10a.

Hi Eddy,

Is there any other error logged in under IML (integrated mangment log), if none try to update bios to the current one if you have not done it yet.

Bios/Firmware all up to date.
Intergrated Log Error:
An Unrecoverable System Error (NMI) has occured.
I have also disabled the HP iLo Management Interface Driver in Device manager.

I have run the HP Offline diagnostics and has reported everything ok. Since the server crashed again, there are some new errors in the integrated log.

"Unknown Event (Class 15, Code 255)"

There are 7 of them all in two minutes apart.

If you have done all the update and there is no 3rd party hardware involved on this issue,it is best you contact techincal support for further help

Already have a call open with HP. They pretty much don't know what it is either.
So far they have told me to re-seat the drives.

I am having the same issue and was wondering if you found a resolution for yours.
I have a W2K SP4 DL360G3 with PSP 7.40b on it and it has crashed twice within the last 48 hours. I am receiving an error "event ID:4203 Source:cpqasm2" and the Interrogated Management Log states "An Unrecoverable System Error (NMI) has occurred".
