fan speed when novell 6.5 loaded DL380 G3

The system fans run at full speed and does not slow when operating system loaded?

Darren:

Have you loaded the Health Drivers (i.e., the server agents)? You need the health drivers and agents loaded and started to regulate the fan speed.

You can get the ProLiant Support Pack which will install all the drivers/agents you need to calm those fans down from here: http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/18418.html
