g3 can be 64 bit?

tinkering with putting 64 bit linux on this machine.. i have 2 sl7ae cpus will these work?
went on intels site and couldnt find info
tried to search using the numbers on the cpus but to no avail
any heal would be appreciated

"G3" on a Proliant server indicates which generation of that model it is. If you want meaningful answers you'll also need to specify which model (BL/DL/ML ###) you're talking about.

sorry in my haste i forgot to post that it was dl360. i was aware that g3 meant generation 3 sorry for the lack of info.
thanks for the matrix link. my server does not seem to be listed. i would imagine it is a little too old. i figured if the cpus could handle 64 bit it might work.
but then again maybe not....

Yes, the DL360G3 is too old for 64-bit. EM64T didn't show up in the DL360 until G4.
