Re: ghost image takes a pc out from the domain

Have you tried posting in the Dell communities?

How was the image created? Was it done after the PC was connected to the domain? What version of Ghost did you use to create it?

There is a security identifier (SID) that is created after the PC connects to the domain controller for the first time, the SID is supposed to be unique, however cloning the drive also clones the SID which can cause security problems if the clone PC is connected to the same domain as the cloned PC.

Re: ghost image takes a pc out from the domain

ver is 6.0
image created while the pc was on the network but as admin.
when use the same image to an other pc, the persone who created the image her pc disjoints from the domain. Then She has to join her pc to the domain again.
