hard disk performance degraded

After installing the 2.72 update for p410i controller in ML350 G6 hard drive has lowered write performance up to 25 Mb / s.
I'm using a RAID 5 with 3 disks 146GB 10K and Linux 2.6.27.7 with Ext3.
I go back to version 2.50?
Sorry fo my bad english.

Re: hard disk performance degraded

Check if any of the setting in the 410i got changed during the update. Specifically check that the battery is OK and the the cache memory is set as read and write.

Re: hard disk performance degraded

The setting of 410i is all ok but my controller is only 256Mb and nothing battery.
Cache is only for read.
What is normal performance for 3 disk SAS 146Gb 10K in RAID 5?

Re: hard disk performance degraded

andy stay with 2.50 if no issues then get a newer firmware 2.72 came out a bit "quick"

it had to resolve particular issues if you had no issues stick with 2.5 it is stable for many..
