harddisk LED

after i use smartstart ver 4.90 to install the windows 2000 server, i found that the harddisk LED are not 'on'. But i found that i use same smartstart disc to install DL380. The harddisk LED of DL380 is 'on'. How can i make the Harddisk LED 'on' under windows 2000 server.

Is there an array controller installed in the PL5500? If the drives are attached to a SCSI adapter (not array controller) in any Compaq server, then it requires a driver be installed for the hard drive led. Run the SD and select the express option. In machines which have an array controller (the DL380 comes with one) the led are provided by the controller.
