hardware disk raid 5 dl 380 g5 hot swap

HI I have a server with 2 logical drives, one of them as 4 disks of 146 gb sas. But one of them is failing in the log of smart start. I have stock of 72 gb sas. Can I replace the disk 146 gb failed with 72 gb, what can happen?

thanks, regards.

No.
The drive has to be at least the same size as the one you replace.
If you replace the drive with a smaller capacity, nothing will happen.
