heating of the chipset in ProLiant ML330G

Does anyone knows how to dissipate heating from the chipset ServerWorks (Was: Reliance Computer Corp) CNB20-LE PCI on ProLiant ML330G Server? The chipset is coocking but there is no place to fasten a heat sink?!

Re: heating of the chipset in ProLiant ML330G

Do you have this server standing in a tower configuration or on its side (Rack Config)?

If you have the server on its side, be sure to set SW3 to On. This will set the internal fan to spin faster. (Read: http://h200002.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/UCR/SupportManual/TPM_234832-003_rev3_us/TPM_234832-003_rev3_us.pdf#page=73 )

Be sure to have the server in a cool room with plenty of air circulation and give the box space all around it to move the air.

You could install one of those PCI Card Fans to suck out some of the heat.
