# ERROR 263 The current array controller has one ore more array accelerator batteries that are failed. See the 'More Information' page for details.
Array accelerator operations such as Expansion, Extension, and Migration are temporarily suspended until the batteries are replaced. Pleas cosunsult the user guide to identify and replace the failed batteries

So it appear, you got a failed Cache battery.
Write cache and the mentioned features, will be disabled, untill the battery has been replaced.

How do I change the battery?. Where do they sell? The HP website does not see them. Thank you.

Put in your servers serial no and search for your part. I would also confirm via HP Array configuration Utility what controller you have present in the server before searching.

SolutionHi,
Before going for replacement, make sure that the controller firmware is up to date as this could be false alarm in some cases.
Following is the customer advisory (Not sure if you have same server or controller):

If you need more information let us know server generation and controller information. if the issue not resolved after trying steps mentioned in above advisory you need to replace teh battery.
