so i have g7 380 server with 64 GB ram and dual processors.
P1000 storage works with 2 modules that accept SAS connectors
storage works switch 8/24 HSTNM-N018
my question is how can I get the p1000 to work and take advantage of the storage, what do I need? other than the above
if you have any questions please ask me

SolutionHi,
did you mean the 20 Years old MSA1000, the MSA2000sa, or the P2000 G3?
Maybe you can see a P/N ort Spare#
If you have an MSA with SAS Controller, you need a SAS HBA for the Server to connect.

Re: hi , I received some equipment and i need some help getting them to work
The only Option I found is
HP SC08e Host Bus Adapter (hpe.com)
It is Supported in Gen 7 Server and for P2000 G3.
