Re: how to convert Proliant ML350 running Redhat/Linux to Windows XP workstation
Xeon 3.00 GHz/800MHz (2MB L2 cache)
Bios D19 (02/15/2006)
1024 MB RAM
Compaq Hard drive BD07289bb8 72MB
LSILOGIC LSI1030-IT
Integrated Lights Out 1.82 Aug 2005
it has Redhat Enterprise Linux 2.6.9 installed
The system was purchased about 1 yr ago and was spec'd by someone else as a client network server, but it didn't work out (ended up having to buy a different puter to meet their specific needs). It has sat idle since then, so we've decided to convert it to a usable workstation, a la the Dell 690.

Re: how to convert Proliant ML350 running Redhat/Linux to Windows XP workstation
I tried clearing NVRAM using the software function for that purpose but it didn't fix anything. Godda believe HP has a software install routine for installing the XP OS, a la the software setup disk for installing the various server OS's. Tx, again, for the help.
