how to disable usb boot device on dl380 g4
If I plug in a usb device, dvd or external harddrive, at boot time the machine hangs while attempting to boot from them. I can move them down in the boot priority list but then I will not be able boot from the internal dvd. How can disable booting from any usb device?

Re: how to disable usb boot device on dl380 g4
I think that you are looking for the following:
Enter RBSU
on System Options/ USB DriveKey Boot Sequence try to change that setting so "Internal DriveKeys First" is selected.
Also under the USB Control Menu on the same RBSU Screen you have the option to disable External USB Devices.
Hope it was helpful.
