how to use one hard disk

array A (SAS, Unused Space: 0 MB)


logicaldrive 1 (136.7 GB, RAID 1, OK)

physicaldrive 1I:1:3 (port 1I:box 1:bay 3, SAS, 146 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:4 (port 1I:box 1:bay 4, SAS, 146 GB, OK)

array B (SAS, Unused Space: 0 MB)


logicaldrive 2 (136.7 GB, RAID 1, OK)

physicaldrive 1I:1:1 (port 1I:box 1:bay 1, SAS, 146 GB, OK)
physicaldrive 1I:1:2 (port 1I:box 1:bay 2, SAS, 146 GB, OK)

unassigned

physicaldrive 2I:1:5 (port 2I:box 1:bay 5, SATA, 1TB, OK)

How to use unassigned physical drive?

I have tried:
---
ctrl slot=0 create type=ld drives=2I:1:5
and
ctrl slot=0 create type=ld drives=2I:1:5 raid=0
----
but i get:
Error: This operation is not supported with the current configuration. Use the
"show" command on devices to show additional details about the
configuration.

What am i doing wrong?

what is your server model?
you unassigned physical drive says its 1TB SATA drive which is different from the other 146 GB SAS disks you have.

Server is HP ProLiant ML350 G6.
The disk is 454146-B21 HP 1TB 3G SATA 7.2K RPM 3.5. i want to use it as single drive.

Need more RAM for Controller.
