Re: hp 350 ML scsi installation
Is this a newer ML350? I would expect that is has 6 hard drive bays in the front of the server? If so, then you need hard drives that are in a Hot Plug Tray which have 80pin SCA connectors on them.
Probably... 36.4-GB 15,000 rpm U320 Universal Hard Drive (1├в ) 286776-B22
...is the part you want. You may also need an Array controller if you want to configure hardware RAID.
Alternatively, you may be able to directly connect your drives internally to the SCSI controller, if you have the right cable.

Re: hp 350 ML scsi installation
You can get the drives direct from HP or from HP.com.
I do not think the drives you have will work though as the drive itself should have an 80pin connector, not 68pin.
The 6 drive slots only hold the drives. They get connected to the system via a Smart Array controller or a SCSI controller (depending on the model you purchased).
The quickest way to determine if you have Smart Array, without opening up the server is to turn it on. Right after the initial POST, you should see "Smart Arry 641 initializing" or similar. If you don't, no Array Controller is in the box.

Re: hp 350 ML scsi installation
Refer to the Non-hot plug SCSI hard drive cabling section of the Proliant ML350 G4 Reference Guide at http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c00218201/c00218201.pdf for details.
If you provide a serial number, we may be able to determine what kind of embedded controller already comes with the system and if it already has the cabling necessary.
