Re: hp 90 dl380 G7 Having AMP status alarm
Hi,
Hope this document helps you understand AMP modes.
On an HP ProLiant G6, G7 or Gen8 server, the Advanced Memory Protection (AMP) LEDs will only be illuminated when AMP is being used. AMP indicates the Online Spare Memory or Memory Mirroring.
- Solid green: AMP mode enabled
- Solid amber: Failover status
- Flashing amber: Invalid configuration
AMP is configured in RBSU/BIOS. Refer to RBSU user guide.
Thank You!
I am a HP employee
