hp SC40Ge or build-in controller

Did buy an hp Proliant Dl160 G5
Seems that the pci controller is an HP sc40Ge , without cache possibilitues and not capable of doing NCQ.

Only solution : moving to another controller or the lsi-logic controller onthe motherboard ( this one should support caching , write-back and ncd .

Anyone an idea of performance differences ??
Under redhat , the HPSc4xGe gives me +/- 75 Mbits reading from disk. ( hdparam -tT )
