hp hard drives
Recently I buy six hp sas 450 gb, the problem inside the box has this part number 533871-002 instead of 516816-b21 (the one i requiere) and its about 4" instead of 3.5 and does not fit with HP ProLiant DL380 G7 E5645 1P 6GB-R P410i/256 8 SFF 460W PS Server, anybody knows what happened? do they send me the wrong parts or the bill of materials that says that 516816-b21 its compatible with DL380 G7 E5645. Its wrong?
Regards

Re: hp hard drives
hi,
You have recieved the wrong drives, most probably for Gen8 or EVA, which are not compatible with your server. If you give me the spare number (xxxxxx-001), I can tell you, what you have exactly.
Thanks

Re: hp hard drives
hi,
Please find below the HP HDD Matrix.
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c00305257
If you search with the model numer (EF0450FATFE), you will find a couple of options wich can be ordered.
You need the drive with the following spare number 517352-001 .
Thanks
regards,
