hp proliant DL380 re-install windows RAID failed

i have a proliant DL380 G7 server with two sas hdd (2x146GB 1st is the c:\ & 2nd is E & F), with bundled win server 2008, for some troubleshoots of windows i had to format the c:\ and re-install windows,the problem happend while installing windows the boss's son had removed the 2nd hdd, after windows finished that drive wasn't available and array says that its failed for this drive and need to re-enable but data on this drive may be lost,i'm new to raid controller, any chance to recover data? plzzzzzzzzz help we have no backup for our data..

Without knowing how the drives were configured there is no way to answer your question. With 2 drives the options are RAID 0, RAID 1, or JBOD. You should be able to boot into ORCA and see how the drives were setup

thank you guys for ur replies..
sorry i forgot to mention that it is configured with raid 0..,anyway my prob is solved now and i will tell what i did in case that happened with other beginners as i.

after many consultants i forced to one way only..
boot server with hp smartstart and go to maintenance to the Array configuration..

the array wizard tells you that the disk is
failed and need to re-enable by the array, but it warns that if you have any data on this drive, it could be lost..

at this point i stopped yesterday..
because of i failed to find another solution..

i forced to use this way..
and it works..
i could access my data normaly ..
and everything was fine..
