hp proliant dl380 g6 doesn't post and no error lights

hello i have my trusty hp dl 380 g6 upgraded from

  • 1* Quad Core Intel Xeon E5520 2.27 Ghz CPU
    • 16 Gb PC3-10600R RAM

to

  • 2* Six-Core Intel Xeon Processor X5650 2.66Ghz CPU
  • 32 GB PC3-10600R RAM

now when i start the server up it doesn't post and the buzzer ticks every second

so i go in to ilo and noticed that the server cant read anything of the main board (psu, cpu, temp etc.....)

i also tryed the common things with the dipswitch and also with removing the cmos battery.

stil nothing can someone help me out ?

The old cpu has been sold so i dont have him anymore.

screenshots off ilo can be found on my site http://muddzone.nl/ILO

Start with a minimal configuration: 1 CPU and 1 stick of memory. If you can get the system to post with just that, then swap with the other CPU to make sure it works, and then swap out memory chips to test each one. After each component has been verified as working you can then try with all RAM and then both CPUs. May have to check if the BIOS needs some tweaking or that you need a firmware update to use 2 X5650.

For some CPU upgrades the System ROM needs to be updated before the newer CPU is recognized.  Normally it will show something to the effect of unknown or unsupported CPU when powering on.

How do you update the bios with no system boot?
