hp proliant dl380 g7
hi
i have an hp proliant dl380 g7 server when i try installing OEL 6.4 and Oracle 11gR2 on it.
i get this error and this happens in two cases:
1. if oracle is installed, it happens after first boot.
2. sometimes oracle installation stops and shows this error.
please help me what is the reason?
thanks

Re: hp proliant dl380 g7
Hey,
key things seems to be: "detect_controller_lockup_thread" and "hpsa".
So I'd try upgrading the hpsa driver, related firmwares or try without it. Perhaps there's some information available when searching for the above and the controller type and the kind of storage connected.
