hp proliant ml 350 g3 - (urgent) system crash

I have SCSI 3 physical harddrive. I removed the array to reinstall MS 2003 or Fedora 12.

1. Now when i install ms 2003 i dont see any drive space nothing. if i select f6 for scsi or raid it dont see any drives too.
(fedora not trying yet)

2. In array controller i have
Raid 5, or Raid 1+0 or Raid 0 option

which one i should select for small server to setup like windows only or fedora12.

Thank you

You have to configure the array first, before you install the OS.

The array is a subsystem separate from the rest of the server. The hard disks are attached to the array and are not visible by the server.

You need to configure the disks within the array first. You create disk arrays and logical disks. These logical disks are what the OS sees, not the actual physical disks.

During power on, interrupt the boot process to get into the 5i controller and configure the logical disks.

Look on page 9 of the 5i reference guide.

According to that:

Note: i dont have this: screen shot: http://imgur.com/HYzyc.jpg

I retry again faild:
----------------------
1. I should have RAID 0 (3 physical drive present, only 2 i can use)

2. From there i made a RAID 0 ( 1 is reserved ), logical drive is created

3. I start windows 2003 installation, it still find no disks.

Please help still. (please also let me know am i bound to install Windows 2000 or 2003 ?, or i can straigh try Fedora 12)

Thank you
