hpasm without hpsmh in Redhat?

hpasm without hpsmh in Redhat?

I have around 20 linux server installed on HP DL360s. All are installed without extra packages to make it clean and optimize for web server performance.
I want to monitor the server using nagios with hpasm. But I do not want another web service hpsmh to running on the server since i do not need it. Can I install only hpasm to monitor through snmp.

Yes, the system management homepage is optional.
