iLO 1.70 firmware issues on DL380 G5

Anyone else seeing these? We have six DL380 G5 in-house and three of them have had iLO failures after the firmware upgrade to 1.70 (coming from 1.61b).

Ironically, this (flagged critical) update was supposed to fix issues with firmware update freezes.

Our only recourse so far has been to manually power-cycle the servers.

Any thoughts?

Re: iLO 1.70 firmware issues on DL380 G5

I'm having the same problem- a very large % of my HP DL380 G4 and G5 servers are affected.

The only solution is to perform a "power drain" meaning you power off and unplug the server (both PS) and let it sit for one minute and then plug it back in.

Clearly this and other recent ILO firmwares have not been through proper QA as I have literally dozens of servers affected.
