iLO Guidance

I want to get some best-practice advice for iLO (std and advanced). I notice the IP address for the machines is set to a 10.x.x.x address (255.252.0.0 subnet). Is it generally recommended to keep the iLO port on a completely serperate physical network to the main data network, or is it reasonable to connect the iLO port to the corporate network and change IP address to something from the coporate LAN?

I realise the one significant aspect is to expose the iLO port to coroporate LAN traffic (thus any security risk...) but would appreciate suggestions.

Here are the web link for the best practices. For our company in each data center we requested a seperate subnet allocated strictly for iLO and RILO II's. The subnet does allow for DHCP (just in case you have to set the iLO to defaults this really helps or setup a new one) and also standardized on the DNS settings with something simple like servername-ilo etc. Here is the link...
