iLO Ports with Public IP Addresses
Does anyone have any experience, recommendations, or best practices with regards to publishing ILO ports to the public network (internet), using SSL certifiates?

Best practices are don't stick iLO on an open network. Access the iLO via VPN or port tunnel over SSH

You can use Public IP addresses if you really want to. It's probably a good idea to then firewall it (and then use ssh/vpn to get in)..

ILO provides out of band server management. It is better to have such capability be adequately safeguarded. Hope this explains the above two entries.
