iLO dead on DL360 G4p after applying firmware v1.94
Good morning,
I just applied the iLO firmware through the iLO web interface on our DL360 G4p and now I cannot ping the iLO. Insight Manager also reports that it cannot reach the management processor. I tried to reset the iLO through the Management Home page on the server but that also failed. I then restarted the management agents on the server and now the it reports that there is no management processor on the box. What can be the problem? I cannot reboot the server as it is our domain controller. But can it be that the iLO is complete buggered?
Thanks in advance!

Re: iLO dead on DL360 G4p after applying firmware v1.94
Good afternoon,
Yes it seems quite likely that the iLO is brokard. Maybe a retry of the fw upgrade could do the trick. Sometimes a NVRAM reset have fixed problems like this, that however require a reboot.

Thanks. We have a shut coming up, so I will reboot the server then. I am a bit concerned that when I reboot the server, it may not come up again. I read in other threads that when they reboot their servers, it just doesn't come up!
