iLO from OSX/firefox
trying to connect to remote console of DL385 via iLO 1.82 from MacBook w/Firefox and JRE 1.4.2.
I get a small red x in the space where the console should be.
Any tips appreciated.

Re: iLO from OSX/firefox
Hi Erik,
HP recommends Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6.0.
If the Remote Console applet is to be used, Java 1.4.2 (or later) or the Microsoft VM is recommended.
Additional browsers may or may not work correctly, depending on the OS and specific implementations.
The Integrated Remote Console (IRC) is an ActiveX control and is intended to run only on Internet Explorer.
Also,
HP recommends that users implement these settings on the client to optimize performance:
Display properties:
├в ┬в Select a display resolution greater than the resolution of the host server.
├в ┬в Select an option greater than 256 colors.
Mouse properties:
├в ┬в Set the pointer Speed slider to the middle setting.
├в ┬в Set the Mouse Pointer Acceleration to low, or disable the mouse acceleration.
Hope this explains!!!!!
Regards,
rmn
