iLo on HP DL380 G4 not appearing when POST startup

We upgraded the server from Win2K3 SP0 to SP3. Now the iLo is missing and is not a option when the server is powered on. The network cable is plugged in and it's showing link to the switch but it's unresponsive.


Ran the diagnostics and a 903001 error is generated from the iLo. I am not sure what the error code means. Has anyone come across this problem before?

Try powering off the server then remove the power cords for ~10 seconds. If iLO2 is back after that, you need to upgrade iLO2 firmware to version 2.05 or later. We solved lots of issues that could make iLO2 go unresponsive in the past couple of years. If you already had version 2.05 or later, please let me know.

BTW, iLO2 version 2.12 just got released this week.

The problem was solved. The iLO firmware version was 1.61
