iLo2 change standard port number
Hi for security reason I must change the default port number for iLo2 (Proliant DL380 G5).
After I have change the port number I can't use the Integrated Remote Console (IRC). The error message is "Failed to connect to server. Chaeck for avalaible telnet connection." !
If I change back only the telnet port number to 23 it's work fine.
What's wrong

Re: iLo2 change standard port number
I ran into this same issue, where there is a firewall between the server and the workstation and telnet is blocked. Is there any way to configure ILO to use another port than 23 for graphical remote console?

Re: iLo2 change standard port number
I have posted the same question on another forum in HP web site.
We must wait a new version of Firmware.
Cheers
