id Proliant / Raid support

Have a Compaq Proliant ML370 (ML370T02 P1400 512 AUST), unsure if it's a G2 or G3. I'd like to know the best Smart Array controller for this server.

This is a G2 (the 02 in ML370T02 tells me this).

It's difficult to say what the "best" smart array controller would be for this server. If you want to try saving a pci slot, the the 5i controller is an option for the G2 model. If you have U320 drives and want to get the speed the drives are capable of, then I would recommend looking at either a 641 or 642.
