HP DL360p Gen8 has built in Intelligent Provisioning OS intallation. Will it work with stock RHEL bought onhttp://www.redhat.com or I have to buy Linux only from HP directly ?
I don't want to buy Linux from HP because they sell it only with support, but I want to buy much cheaper self-support version.

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
Intelligent Provisioning is designed to work with the media provided by the OS vendor. The answer is yes, RHEL purchased from Red Hat will work

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
Thank you. I remember last time i was using IP, it asks for "Windows Server 2008 R2 (HP-branded)"
Look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hz1PqWruLaM at 2.45
Why it then asks for "HP-branded" media if it also can work with OS vendor media?

IP also supports the media released by Microsoft

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
Thanks, so what is the most correct way to install RHEL on Proliant?
I just download media from redhat, install it via Intelligent Provisioning (or without it), then add SPP and that's it?

You can use IP or just boot from the RHEL media and add the SPP. IP is there for those who need the assistance, I just boot the RHEL media. Once the installation is complete I add the HP repository (SDR) to add SPP components
http://downloads.linux.hp.com/ Grab the addrepo.sh file

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
Thanks, two more question :)
Do know if Redhat can install "dual-boot" loader to keep Windows?
Am I correct that "Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server Entry Level" is fully featured RHEL, and "Entry" just means "self-support"?

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
I've just bought RedHat, burned DVD and tried to use it in IP
However I receive error "Unable to find any valid media, add and choose "rescan""
I will try just booting DVD, but it's too sad that IP doesn't work by some reason, probably RedHat 7 still not supported?
upd: adding link to my research http://serverfault.com/questions/633279/can-hp-intelligent-provisioning-install-rhel-using-non-hp-media

Re: if HP Intelligent Provisioning can install RHEL using non-HP media?
Thanks again!
After updating to 1.61 it's possible to use IP to install RHEL 7, it recognize media. However note that according to doc http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.BINARYPORTLET/public/kb/docDisplay/resource.process/?javax.portlet.begCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.endCacheTok=com.vignette.cachetoken&javax.portlet.rid_ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01=docDisplayResURL&javax.portlet.rst_ba847bafb2a2d782fcbb0710b053ce01=wsrp-resourceState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c04409569-1%257CdocLocale%253D&javax.p... DOESN"T support RHEL 7, so resulting behavior I guess undefined :)
Probably you also can suggest how can I tune dual boot? I just used "automatic partition", RHEL 7 was installed on the left space, but now boot loader doesn't show Windows, I can't start Windows now. I guess probably I just have to fix some "bootloader" file to add Windows.
