instalation NT4 onto HP Proliant DL580G2

my question is about the possibility installation of the NT4 on HP Proliant DL580G2. If yes witch way I may follow to succes installation.

Hi. Yes, you can install NT4. The only issue is that the embedded nic is not supported for NT4 as you can see there:

thank you that i know. but the problem become when the restart after copied the files - non system disk or disk error.

I need install NT4 as BDC after promote to PDC and then upgrade to w2k.
It´s possibl

Well, I need to make some stupid questions..
Did you have some raid controller? If yes, is it set to "first" in Bios? Are you using Smart Start?
With this answers we can go on!

Yes, I use raid controller, when Windows NT Setup displays the message "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configuration...," I press F6, I have downloaded cp002545.exe Compaq 66MHz/64bit Dual Channel Wide Ultra3 SCSI Controller Driver files from HP side but dont have good results. That I have copied to diskete from SmartStart CD files for SmartArray 5i. With this driver I will be able format the partition and the system copied the first files, need restart and then no disk found. SmartStart I couldn´t use because offering me just only Server 2000 or 2003.
Any idea now?

seems that your raid controller is not the first boot device on boot controller order.
can you check this please?

I check it and the setting is following:
Standard Boot Order(IPL) - HDD C
Boot Controller Order - PCI Embedded Compaq Smart Array 5i Controler
