install SLES 9 on HP Proliant ML370 G5

Hi, I'm having problems to install SLES 9 (without service pack) on an ML370 G5.
SLES doesn't see any hard disks. I think we need another driver for the smart array controller. But when I download the latest driver (and load it via F6 with installation), I still have the same problem. I also tried some previous versions of the driver, but they all resulted in the same problem.
Is it possible to install SLES 9 (no service pack) on an ML370 G5?
