install Windows XP on a DL380 G4

I need some help. XP is not in the list when running the smart start cd. XP does not "see" the HD(s) when booting from its cd.

Any ideas?

I searched this forum before starting this new thread and did not find a solution.

Thanks,
Confused in Memphis

Depends if you have the SCSI or SAS model.
Go to the driver download page and get the Drivers for the proper storage array you have.
Find a file called, ????.oem in the driver folders. copy this file to a disquette drive.
Then when you launch the install of windows, you can hit f6 to load a storage driver.

Windows XP is not supported on Proliant servers, that's why it does no appear on SmartStart.
You can download SmartArray 6i driver for Windows 2003, and provide it to Windows in a diskette pressing F6 at the beggining of the installation.
