install rhel on dl380 + smart array p840/4g

hi everyone...

i'm trying to install rhel 6.5 or 6.6 on dl380 + smart array p840/4g, however rhel still not recognize raid volume that i've created before.

is there any fine manual about how to install rhel on dl380 + smart array p840/4g?

The 'hpsa' driver should recogonise the P840 controller. What generation DL380 are you working with?

it is DL380 Gen9.

i've tried to boot using CentOS 7 and it working as expected. however i need to install rhel 6.2 or 6.5 on this proliant

6.5 doesn't recognise the disk controller you need a driver update disk.. Start here http://h20565.www2.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=7252838&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4103 and select Software -Driver Update  Download either the hpsa for 'P' series Smart Array or the hpdsa driver for the "B' series Smart Array. follow the intructions on the driver information page on how to create and use the driver disk
