installing 20/40 DAT

I installed COMPAQ type device 20/40 DAT (157769-B21) on internal SCSI. During initialisation process this type device recognized with ID = 6. Next i startup solaris 7 on single mode and run touch /reconfigure command. After reboot process i did not find special files in /dev/rmt directory
