how to install Win Srv 2008 R2 Ent X64 on HP DL380G5 using smartstart 8.2, it seems that the OS is not supported by Smartstart 8.2

Do you have to use Smart Start 8.2? Newer versions, which support R2, are available for download:

Smart Start 8.3 and 8.4 both support R2.

As Terry pointed out, you can use a newer version of the SmartStart CD, but you don't really need SmartStart to install 2008 R2 on a DL380 G5. Once you have the array configured, just boot the 2008 R2 media and install. Once the installation is complete you can then install the latest ProLiant Support Pack if you want the the health drivers
