installing a Xeon 700

want to install a pIII xeon 700 from compaq but: system show the right cpu and display an error message: "unsuported processor detectet". bios is flashed to the newest version. same error for the new pIII xeon 900. whats going wrong?

Hello,
Please make sure you have the right stepping on the second CPU as well. Please also be advised that the spare parts you are using are from COMPAQ since we do not support third party parts. You may have to contact the third party for support if you need assistance.
