Hi,

What are you doing with ILO?
Standard or Advance license?
Is ILO enable in the RBSU?

Re: integrated lights out is temporarily unavailable (1)

hi

ok that is the message on POST what about when you try to open the browser? you got ilo? any messages error?

can you ping ilo IP?

ilo, latest firmware 1.91?

----------------
something else you can try

Sorry that it is heavy-handed.

Boot the server with the iLO connectivity problem. Enter iLO RBSU using F8 (it presents during POST) and then reset iLO to defaults.

iLO resets after exiting iLO RBSU.

Wait 30 seconds after exiting, then reset the server again, enter iLO RBSU.
1) set the Administrator password
2) set the network port up.
3) Exit RBSU. iLO will reset again (network settings changes).

Wait 30 seconds, reset the host.

iLO displays the IP address during POST. Now try to reconnect using the new Administrator account credentials.

regards

Hi Lamark,
Thanks for posting the issue
if you are getting the error at post screen
it means ILO feature is not functioning
to resolve the issue kindly update the firmware of ILO and try to enter into ILO configuration menu by pressing F8 on post once it prompt for ILO.
refer below link for same (for win2k3) :-
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=316558&prodNameId=3288138&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-01e3d5a15d7f4243933fb7550d

if after updating the firmware still issue persist then reset ILO by using SW2 - Maintenance Switches, on this switch no 1 switch is for ILO Service Override, power down the server make this switch in on condition then power on server for 15-30 sec then power down the server and make sw no 1 in default condition (off)
if still same issue persist then raise a call with HP and system board will get replaced to resolve the issue .

Hi lamark,

Amrit has given a good plan of action.
That should resolve the issue.
Keep us posted about the development.
