internal DAT Drive SCSI ID problem
Can I use the 3 device terminated scsi cable included with the ML370 to install an internal sdt-9000 TurboDAT 12/24 DAT tape drive?
I have the hard drives on a seperate 431 controller, freeing up the external, and both internal ports on the integrated scsi controller. I plug the 3 device cable into port 1, and install the other end to the tape drive. I have tried numerous combinations of id's, all of them fail (ID6:FAILED when "scanning for scsi devices")
Help!
I had to use the converter (with the tape drive) to use the included cable.
I have disabled termination on the device (since the cable is terminated), and still have problems.

Re: internal DAT Drive SCSI ID problem
Try to clear NVRAM firsat to see if that helps. Try another cable and/or try the external scsi port. There could be a HW fault.
