is it possible to access drive 7-8 with 6 slot LFF cage?

Hi

 

We have an ML350 G5 with a p400 controller and a 6 slot LFF drive cage for Sata drives.

The p400 supports 8 drives with 2 sas cables, and the backplane for the drive cage has 2 sas ports but only 6 slots.

 

Is there a way to connect 2 additional drives to the same p400 controller that are in the 5.25 slots?

Is there a cable option, or a connector on the backplane for the 2 remaining slots?

Hi,

 

There is no option that will allow you to use the two available drive addresses.
