linux installation on ml350 g4
Im about to install fedora on my hp proliant ml350 but i found out that there is no option at smartstart.what should i do? pls. help me.thanks

Hi Richards,
Smart Start CD assisted OS installation is available only for Windows based operating systems.
Fedora is not supported by HP on this server, you can find list of operating systems supported on this server from the link below;
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3279707&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=397642〈=en&cc=us
You can still use Smart Start CD to create RAID and then install OS from the OS media.

Boot the Fedora media and install. SmartStart is a tool to assist installations, it's not required for any OS
During POST you can press F9 to configure options in the system ROM, and press F8 to configure the Smart Array controller
