long time to created raid 5 em background

good morning to all,
I've created raid 5 with 6 hard drives 72.8 Gb using the (acu) through
windows. I noticed that the background in parity creation is taking more
than 5 days. Is it normal?
this a long time !!!

I see no errors

what I see is a very old ADU vrsion 7.4

if you have W2000 the latest ADU is 7.6 and if you got W2003 the latest ADU is 8.15


please go ahead and update both array configuration utility and array diagnostic utility and check the tools again for the message
