Re: low disk space

There are two ways to accomplish this.

Make a backup first.

1.) Add 2 new disks, convert the old RAID1 array of 2 disks into RAID1+0 array of 4 disks. Then use Partition Magic or a similar tool to re-size your C partition (or any other partition) to the size you want.

Pros: you can re-size all partitions freely because all disk space is in one big array
Cons: if the conversion to RAID1+0 fails, you may lose EVERYTHING. (But that's what the backup is for...)

2.) Add 2 new disks and create a new RAID1 array out of them. Now your OS will see 2 disks (actually 2 RAID1 arrays). Copy the data on E partition to the new array and delete the old E partition. Then use Partition Magic or a similar tool to resize your C partition.

Pros: slightly smaller risk in case of failure at the time of conversion. (If your C partition breaks when resizing, you may still have to restore it from backup)
Cons: disk space is now split in two arrays, so it will limit resizing options in the future.

Re: low disk space

Hi Azeez

1- Backup everything
2- Use Partition Magic to resize partitions.
